Michelle “Billie” Fitzpatrick is a writer, educator, and sought-after publishing professional. She has co-authored over fifty books, including numerous New York Times and Amazon bestsellers.  The diversity of topics and subject matter of her book list reflects her interests and expertise in neuroscience, psychology, and brain-based behavior; wellness, health and fitness; sexuality and relationships; parenting; and motivational business. Billie specializes in narrative-driven prescriptive titles, the translation of complex scientific research into accessible programs, and inspiring memoirs.

After completing an additional advanced degree at Harvard in educational neuroscience, Billie helped launch Write the World, a global, online writing platform for young writers. As Chief of Learning Strategy, she developed partnerships with other socially-driven organizations and created digital learning events and educational programming for the 50,000 student and educator members from around the world.

She serves as the Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Laguna Blanca School in Santa Barbara, CA.

Billie grew up in New York and was educated at Rice University (BA, English and French), University of Houston (MA, Literature and Creative Writing), and Harvard University (EdM, Mind, Brain and Education). She lives with her family in California and New York.
