Biography

Billie FitzpatrickBillie Fitzpatrick is a collaborator and ghost writer with over 17 years in the publishing industry. She specializes in helping authors from all professions and life experiences shape their message, develop their programs, and put their lives on the page. As a ghostwriter, she has collaborated on over twenty books in the areas of sexuality and relationships, health and fitness, nutrition and weight loss, psychology and self help, parenting, and biography/memoir, working with the top publishers and a number of bestselling authors.

In the field of sexuality and relationships, Billie has co-written all of bestselling author Lou Paget's five titles, including How to Be A Great Lover, How to Give Her Absolute Pleasure, and The Big O, all with Broadway Books, as well as The Great Lover Playbook and Hot Mamas (Gotham 2004, 2005). She has also written books with Henry Grayson, Ph.D., Lana Holstein, M.D., and Charlotte Kasl, Ph.D.

In the area of nutrition and weight loss, Billie has collaborated with Kitty Rosati and Dr. Robert Rosati on their bestselling The Rice Diet Solution (S&S, 2006) and with bestselling author Adele Puhn on The Carb Careful Solution (Viking, 2004), among other titles.

Books aimed at parents include Kathryn Sansone’s Woman First, Family Always (Meredith, 2006), Donna Fish’s Take the Fight Out of Food (Atria, 2005), and Emily Kaufman's The Travel Mom's Ultimate Guide to Family Travel (Broadway, 2006). (A full list of titles can be provided on request).

Billie was educated at Rice University, earning a double BA degree in English and French Literature and the University of Houston, earning a MA in Literature and Creative Writing.
